1. PA System requirements - FOH:

 

A PA system adequate for the size of the venue should be provided suitable for a 8 piece band playing Ska / Reggae style

It is agreed that if The Artist brings his own FOH Sound Engineer, they will be afforded full access to the FOH sound system.

 

Details/Specification of the proposed Sound System to be submitted to The Tour Manager no later than one week prior to the concert/event.

 

2. PA System requirements - Monitoring:

 

On stage monitoring is essential

8 Bi-amped 15" + 2" Monitor Wedges

1 x Keyboard Fill / Wedge

1 x Drum Fill (to handle sub-bass + full range)

1 x Bi-amped 15" + 2" 'Listen' Wedge

Graphic EQ on each mix

Details/Specification of the proposed Sound System to be submitted to

The Tour Manager no later than one week prior to the concert/event.

 

3. Sound Check / Rehearsal Time:

 

A minimum of 60 minutes soundcheck and rehearsal time is required with access to the full FOH and monitor

sound systems. The FOH and Monitor System engineers should be present throughout the Sound Check time.

The venue should be free from all audience and unauthorized persons throughout all of the sound check. A

clear stage, but with all risers in place is required so that The Band’s equipment and instruments may be set up

unhindered.

 

4. Lighting & Effects:

 

An adequate lighting system to be provided for the size of stage / venue. Please note that no smoke machines and strobe lights not to be used during performance.

 

5. Stage Size, Layout & Facilities:

 

A minimum stage area of 7 meters (wide) by 5 meters (deep) clear of all monitor speakers, desk etc to be

provided.

At least one drum riser should be provided at the rear centre of the stage, a minimum of 2 meters wide and no less than 2m deep. For safety of performers access on/off stage should be clearly marked and lit.

 

6. Backline

 

The Band will not typically share their own backline amplifiers, drums, keyboards or other instruments with any

other act. Exceptions may be accommodated by prior arrangement and consent of the Tour Manager. The

organizers are to please provide the following backline gear:

 

Techrider for rudimentals:

 

  • Full drum kit

    • Set of Shells – At least 2 X Toms & Snare

    • All stands – At least 2 X cymbal stands

    • Stool – kick pedal

    • Hi-Hat –crash –ride

  • 1 X Fender Twin Reverb

  • Bass Amp (Hartke, Ashdown, Peavey or Trace Elliot)

  • Double keyboard stand

  • Single keyboard stand

  • 2 x Guitar stands

  • 6X Cordless mics

 

 

7. Back Stage Facilities and Requirements:

 

 

Sufficient space is required for unloading and loading of equipment and instruments. Sufficient storage space

is required for instrument cases, flight cases and road trunks. The area should be secure with no public access

at any time.

Backstage Food and Drink Requirements:

1. 25 x 300/500ml bottles water

2. Snacks comprising finger foods or any other available sustenance.
